Advanced Shell

The Luce R5’s three section shell consists of a central nylon spine that’s reinforced with carbon fibre and two thermoplastic elastomers. This ensures the Luce R5 provides the ideal mix of low weight, strength and flexibility.

Central Cut-out

Another great feature of the shell is that it has a long central cut-out. Fizik calls this its IschialFlex technology, as it provides flexible support for the sit bone area. It also reduces pressure on sensitive areas so you can enjoy consistent comfort on even the longest rides.

Two Saddle Width Options

This saddle is available in two different sizes. Within Fizik’s saddle fitment guide, the width of Fizik’s “Regular” saddles are best for women with relatively high power output to bodyweight ratios. Fizik’s “Large” saddles are best for women with low power output to bodyweight ratios.
