This MTB front wheel is equipped with a maxtal aluminium rim, which offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy. With 30% more resistance, its light and strong rim construction make it perfect for XC racing and trail riding disciplines. Mavic has also put this model through its SUP welding technology process for a stronger and smoother rim joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded and the welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish. This makes it extremely strong and eliminates shuddering when braking as well as providing superior wheel balance.
