It enables you to convert your 290 Carbon Giga bike/frame to a mullet without the expense of a complete rear triangle. A mullet bike platform uses a 29″ wheel at the front and a 27.5″ at the rear, giving you the perfect balance of pace, stability, agility and control for riding anywhere on Earth. This kit turns your Giga 290 into a custom super-enduro mullet that ensures for more front-end grip, enhanced rolling efficiency and playfulness on steep descents and technical terrain sections.

This link includes everything you need* to convert a 290c Giga frame into a mullet bike, running a 29” front and 27.5” rear wheel. Forged from 6061 Aluminium Alloy with new bearings pre-installed and a tough anodised finish.

No additional frame parts are needed to install it, as it’s a straight replacement for the current version. This part is an alternative option to the MX Carbon rear triangle, as it corrects the bike’s geometry when a 27.5’’ wheel is installed to the 290 rear triangle.

If you would like a complete conversion to a Giga MX 297 with a shorter chainstay and wheelbase, we would recommend this kit.

*Note: You will require a Boost 148mm 27.5” Rear wheel and tyre, not included.
