Built for efficient and unbeatable straight-line speed, the BlackEdition 50 Carbon Disc Wheelset offers improved aerodynamics, handling and stability due to the 27.5mm wide and 50mm deep T700 UD carbon fibre rim.

Reducing turbulence when air meets the spokes as well as rolling resistance, and providing a larger contact area for improved stability when taking corners, the BlackEdition 50 Carbon Disc Wheelset ticks all the boxes when it comes to a speedy and streamlined pair of wheels. Built up using RD010 CNC machined 6061 hubs and DT Swiss straight pull spokes, the wheel is stiffer and more reactive.

Since the release of the BlackEdition range in 2018, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes with Vitus Pro Cycling in search of the marginal gains that could help them in some of the UK’s biggest races. The 2020 BlackEdition is the result.

We’ve experimented with numerous types of resin and tested countless new lay ups before we settled on our new and improved BlackEdition rim. But, that’s not all, we’ve upgraded to a higher grade of carbon, saving precious grams, and improving on the impact strength/weight ratio making the new BlackEdition our best rim yet.
