The Doyenne Headset features highly polished angular contact bearings to ensure smoothness, and the top cap is CNC machined from 6061 alloy and sealed to keep moisture away from the bearings.

To protect the lower bearings, Prime has included a CNC-machined 7075 alloy crown race.
