Offering you the perfect mix of low weight and high strength, Shimano has built it with aluminium crank arms, a tough steel axle and the chainrings are made with steel teeth on a carbon fibre composite carrier body. Plus, the chainring’s teeth have been shaped to enhance chain retention as you attack the roughest sections of the trails.
